Hello, all!

And thanks for your continuing support of CityJam! :)

Just FYI, we'll be moving to our later time beginning June 25th - CityJam will rock da house from 9 to 11 pm every Sunday night throughout the summer...

So keep coming in for the big show! We've had some terrific performances lately from Aaron Hardy, Shivonda, Chris Kimble, Susan, and former Coldwater singer, the talented Holly Keller (who you can also catch at her upcoming Thursday solo gigs at the Noggin Room) and we hope to get you up on our stage, too...

Don't play an instrument? No problem - try our Guitaroke, where you can just sing and we'll play guitar for you, or our Hipster Singalong, where you can stay at your table with your friends and belt a few songs out...

If you prefer to keep your talents to yourself, then just relax and enjoy the show, along with City Park Grill's many great drinks and half-off appetizers every Sunday night at the bar. See you at CityJam!

In answer to everyone's most frequent question this week - yes! We are still having City Jam on the holiday weekend :) 8 to 10 pm. Hope to see you all there - we've been getting more and more new performers each week, and it's turning into quite the cool gang of musicians. C'mon in and join us and fend off those bad, bad tax men with a great CPG appetizer and a drink - and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hey Cityjammers! City Jam Open Mic is movin' right along nicely, thanks in large part to all of you coming out to support us and to the musicians (our old reliable friends and lots of nice new people!) who have been coming in to perform. Last week's show included drumming from Trevor Smela and sets from open mic fave Ryan Luce, guitar talent Aaron, country-folk singer Victor, and the new trio of Lara, Vaso, and Tyler, who covered Coldplay's "Shiver" beautifully and added in a couple of their own original songs, too. Thanks to everyone who performed!

And here's the first photo from City Jam! It's Ryan Luce, warming up the City Park crowd!

Hey, Cityjammers - just a quick update on our new open mic show!

The past few weeks have been great for City Jam - we've welcomed back many of our Toast & Jam performers, and have been glad to see some new faces surfacing, too!

Performers over the past couple of shows have included Ryan Luce, Trevor Smela, Jon Moody, Carter & Trever, Chris Kimble, Sharon, and Marc Witty with special guest Joe - great music from every single one!

The new stage is spacious and well-lit, and our new hosts at City Park Grill are even offering appetizers for HALF OFF at the bar during City Jam Open Mic!

So tell your friends, tell your fellow musicians, and come on down to the new cool spot in town - and for those of you who've asked, YES, it is an all-ages show, so bring all your pals and we'll see you next Sunday for City Jam!

SHOW PHOTOS COMING SOON!

Hi again!

Update on our new City Jam Open Mic - the first event took place last Sunday, and we had a decent turnout and a lot of fun! Thanks to everyone who showed up - it seems that this show is going to be more and more fun as it catches on, so we're excited!

We got a brand new stage curtain (olive green and black stripes - very cool!) and a plethora of candle holders to make our new, darker environment more "clubby," hip, and comfortable - and, of course, plenty of drinks of all varieties were made available, as well as some tasty appetizers for half-price! Thanks to Patrick and Jason at CPG for making things so nice for everyone!

Performers included Ryan, Trevor, Jon Moody, Marc Witty, and Joe, and we hope for even more performers in the weeks to come.

It's a very different environment from our old Open Mic at Roast & Toast - but we think it's going to be just as much fun, if not better!

Next City Jam is this Sunday, February 19th from 8 to 10 pm - hope to see YOU there! :)

Hello, everyone!

Just a quick reminder that the very first CITY JAM Open Mic Show will be taking place this upcoming Sunday (February 12th) at City Park Grill!!

Our usual times for this new Open Mic will be 8 to 10 PM, but on the second Sunday of each month (including this one!) we'll be running 9 to 11 pm.

We'll have a new stage setup at City Jam, and a new (to us) P.A. system and lights, plus lots of what made our previous Open Mic - Toast & Jam, of course - great - namely, our Traditional Open Mic, Guitar-Oke, our Hipster Singalongs, and YOU!

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!

Kristi :)
